On Wednesday 18th December a sell-out Coronation Hall audience welcomed the festive season in style at the annual UVHS Christmas Festival.  Led by the internationally renowned UVHS Wind Band (with an astonishing 94 musicians on stage), the capacity crowd were treated to a wide selection of festive music (from a fiendishly difficult jazz arrangement of ‘Rudolph!’ and The Pogues’ ‘Fairytale of New York’ to the more traditional ‘Sleigh Ride’ and ‘Christmas Festival’) as well as having the opportunity to belt out the obligatory carols, of which there were 8!
