Do you Aspire to Become a Nurse?

The University of Cumbria has teamed up with Blackpool Teaching Hospital Trust and Cumbria Partnership Trust to invite students to an enlightening open day where they will be introduced to nurses and experts specialising in adult nursing and learning disability care - including community workers, autism and epilepsy specialists and even patients and their carers to find out about their needs and care experiences.

Nursing is a career which positively changes people’s lives and we’re giving students the opportunity to experience a busy hospital and talk informally to alumni of the University who have already succeeded in their journey from degree to a rewarding career. There’s even a chance to be interviewed on the day for the degree course.*

At the University of Cumbria, 100% of our students achieved their ambition to become a practicing nurse.** On top of that, there’s a massive 665 diverse placement options, with 50 percent of the course concentrating on direct work with patients. And our amazing tutors are leaders in their fields, carrying out national and international research. So, book today and discover what it takes to become a great nurse.

Blackpool: Book our Adult Nursing Open Day on May 29th at Blackpool Victoria Hospital

Barrow-in-Furness: Book our Nursing (Learning Disability) Event on June 7th at Forum 28, Barrow-in-Furness

*Guaranteed interview is subject to you having the required qualifications.  Interviews will take place at the end of the day.
