Students across the county where able to apply for funding to help them cover the costs of catering college, or food apprenticeships next year. Jamie, Alfie and Niamh have all been awarded £390 each to cover the cost of transport as they move onto the English Lakes Culinary Academy next year. Bradley has been awarded £667.57 to cover the cost of transport, chef whites and equipment as he moves onto Kendal College to do Catering.

These four students had their applications looked at by the Aroma Founder Mr Hall, and his ambassadors which feature English Lakes Hotels Rooms and Venues, Virginia House, Betullas, Brockwood Hall and Bistro 1863.

Jamie, Alfie, Niamh and Bradley join Ethan and Tom to make six students leaving UVHS to pursue further training and education in food studies. From everyone here at school, we wish them all the very best of luck!
