International Women in Engineering Day
Today is International Women in Engineering Day (23rd June). This is an annual day of celebration and awareness for women working in engineering and for the careers available to them. This year's theme is 'Shape the World'.
In recognition of the role of women in engineering, BAE showcases some examples of their female engineers in the attachment below.
In addition, the RAF are providing hour long workshops for year 5's and 6s all about the history of human flights and the female engineers behind them. For more information please see the poster below.
