TEACHER OF DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY WITH KS3 ART – Maternity Cover

To cover a period of maternity leave

Suitable for NQTs and experienced teachers

 Full Time (1.0 fte) - Teachers Pay Scale (MPR/UPR)

Required to commence 14th March 2022 until 10th March 2023

We wish to appoint, with effect from 14th March 2022, an inspiring and creative teacher to join our innovative Design and Technology Department to cover a period of maternity leave.

The Faculty is a lively and exciting place to be, with a team of 12 enthusiastic and committed teachers.  This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional and dynamic newly qualified teacher or existing practitioner to play a pivotal role in a high-performing Design and Technology Faculty.

The role would involve delivering a range of KS3 D&T and Art lessons, with the possibility of some KS4 lessons if appropriate. Equal consideration will be given to both experienced teachers and NQTs.  A full and appropriate induction programme is available for all NQTs and support and training will be given for all lessons, which will follow existing well planned and resourced SOW.
