They gave an interactive presentation to our Y7 students who were introduced to a series of fun and fascinating ways in which Maths is used in everyday life, including examples of the practical application of mathematical techniques within BAE Systems, the RAF and the Royal Navy.

Students had the privilege to experience “MIA” the talking, walking and dancing robot, who showed off her mathematical genius as well as exploring developments in facial recognition technology.
