They were given a series of practical challenges and had to compete against many other schools to solve a chemical problem.

The students did very well and learned lots about chemistry and how a university chemistry department works. The day finished with a colourful demonstration lecture with plenty of fizzing, banging, popping….well that’s chemistry!
