Our favourite Environment Poems
To celebrate this year's National Poetry Day, we asked members of staff to share with the students a line of poetry that they love (with an environmental theme) and put it on their doors.
Students then competed to collect all of these recommendations from across the school site.
Here's what we chose!
Mrs Shufflebottom - Going, Going; Philip Larkin
Mrs Morris - I Must Return; Florence Otterburn
Dr Hardie - The Starlight Night; Gerard Manley Hopkins
Miss Rowland - Cataract Operation; Simon Armitage
Mrs Ralph - Death of A Naturalist; Seamus Heaney
Mrs Baker - Sea Fever; John Masefield
Mr Naylor - To a Mouse; Robert Burns
