MyChildAtSchool
Effective communication between home and school is essential to ensure the well-being of our pupils and their educational success. We have used a range of different tools over the past few years to support you in monitoring homework, communicating with school and accessing letters and school reports.
We have taken feedback from parent surveys and introduced a new school system so parents can access more of the information and services they require through a single app called MyChildAtSchool (MCAS). This will replace Edulink in November and ParentPay later in the year.
The app is free and available for all smartphones and tablets. We are requesting that all parents and carers download the app this term before Edulink and ParentPay are taken offline. The app is available to download via the Apple App Store and Google Play (links below). All parents require is the email address they have registered with school and the school id:17123

Alternatively, you can login through a web browser https://www.mychildatschool.com/MCAS/MCSParentLogin
Please make sure that you set your password when you first log on, for security purposes. You must also allow notifications when the app is first installed as this cannot be changed afterwards.

MCAS will allow parents to access –
- their child’s details
- timetables, classes, and clubs
- attendance and absence reporting
- upcoming homework
- positive and negative behaviour records
- detentions
- examination entries and exam timetables
- assessment data, progress reviews, and reports
MCAS notifications will allow quicker communication between school and home, e.g. emergency closure due to adverse weather. We will continue to email letters and reports home, but they will also be accessible through links in MCAS.
The app will also allow parents to make payments for trips, extra-curricular activities, equipment, and revision guides. Our current ParentPay system will be phased out early next year however, parents will still need to use SchoolGrid for lunch payments.
If a child changes address or a parental contact needs to update a phone number or email address this can be completed using the MCAS Data Collection form.
