A group of Year 10 students has been coming to an after-school club for 12 weeks to work on their Bronze Crest Award.

This is a nationally recognised award to develop skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, creativity and time-management whilst completing a STEM related project.

The students worked in groups to design, build and test their own roller-coasters to answer the question, “What makes a roller-coaster faster?” It has been fun watching these students rise to the challenge and see their creations develop over the 3 months.
