The scheme will support a Year 12 student’s university application and help develop the skills they need to reach their potential as an undergraduate. The programme includes:

· Attendance at a residential summer school, where students take part in subject specific lectures, seminars, workshops or labs, and receive advice and guidance about higher education.

· Insight into studying at a Russell Group university, through completion of an undergraduate style academic assignment

· Mentoring support from a current University of Southampton student

· Additional consideration in the admissions process when applying to Southampton

· £1000 scholarship in the first year of study.
